Se la shell di riporta un errore di sintassi c'è poco da fare vuol dire che la query è sbagliata.
Posta la query cosi capiamo meglio.

Ecco la query che faccio:
mysqldump -uroot -ppippo pasticceria > backup.sql;
Mi restituisce l'errore:
