MisticAudio and most if not all other online vendors have or will stop selling and taking pre-orders for the Meizu M6 Mini Player. This news comes as it's reported that Meizu does not have proper licensing for the MP3 codec for its players. Licensing of the MP3 codec is an expensive proposition, generally taking some time to complete and involving large sums of money such as a one time $5000US fee plus $.60 per unit sold and an additional $150,000US 5 year bank guarantee. So for now, we'll see what happens and if/when Meizu can aquire the proper licensing."

In poche parole, sembra che Meizu non detenga una licenza valida per l'utilizzo del codec mp3 nei propri prodotti... sperando che la cosa possa risolversi in qualche modo (e in fretta), tutti i rivenditori presenti sul territorio americano hanno sospeso le vendite di questo lettore, per ora...
