"If your system hangs while starting up from the installation CDs (this happens with RedHat and Mandrake, maybe also with others) type "linux pci=off" at the lilo prompt. This is due to a bug in some recent kernel releases, so the problem may be common to other distros too (thanks to Ignacio Aliende for this info)."
Quindi, quando arriva il prompt di boot, prova a digitare: 'linux pci=off'
