Ciao a tutti, chiedo un'informazione. Ho aggiornato ieri un PC su cui avevo installato Windows 10 (una copia di 7, che a suo tempo è stata "upgradata" a win 10 Home). Ho appunto cambiato scheda madre, cpu e ram. Ora mi trovo a dover attivare la licenza, ho seguito le istruzioni di andare in "Aggiornamenti e sicurezza", poi in "attivazione" e da li ho iniziato la risoluzione dei problemi indicando che ho cambiato hardware. Niente, il feedback dice che non è possibile "riprova più tardi". Quando sono andato a controllare nell'account microsoft ho visto che è proprio cambiato il codice della macchina, non corrisponde a quello che avevo prima dell'upgrade hardware.
Ora mi chiedo, posso cercare di utilizzare il vecchio seriale di Win7 oppure devo chiamare il supporto Microsoft per farmi "migrare" sta benedetta licenza? Grazie mille |

In prima battuta mi hanno risposto che la licenza "muore" quando cambi la scheda madre, però ho specificato che si trattava di una "retail", così abbiamo continuato la pratica e si è risolto tutto. Di primo acchito pensava avessi una OEM

E sarebbe stato giustificabile far morire come nel tuo caso una licenza OEM perchè l'HD è stato cambiato? :O

La mia licenza era retail, altrimenti non mi avrebbero fatto l'attivazione coi pezzi nuovi. Mi metto solo nei panni di chi non è abituato a usare il PC che credo difficilmente si metta a telefonare a Microsoft. Che so, potrebbero darti un limite di un tot di upgrade critici (tipo 2 cambi di motherboard). Sempre riferendomi alle retail. PEr le OEM, considerando che si trovano a pochi euro, credo non ci sia niente da dire

Mi ha appena chiamato un amico, voleva sapere se il portatile con windows 7 se lo aggiorna a win 10 si attiva.
Io ho risposto che è difficile, visto che la promozione è scaduta. Voi che dite? |
