ciao ben trovati su questo foru quesoto e il mio primo post e gia chiedo aiuto.
ho un portatile benq joybook 3000 senza floppy e non posiedo ne anche un floppy esterno.volendo aggiornare il bios non ci riesco perche mi chiede di avviare il notebook in sistema dos per poter aggiornare il bios.la mia domanda e come faccio ad agiornare il bios perche non sono prattico con dos e nemeno no lo so come fare per aviare dos.mi servirebe pure urgentemente perche ho problemmi di stabilita di sistema.
qui sotto alego il how-to trovato insieme al bin e al programma per aggiornare il bos.
BIOS (3A27P) for Intel Mobile Pentium 4 CPU
How to check your CPU type:
1)click "start"-->"All programs"-->"Control Panel"-->"System"-->"Hardware" page-->"Device Manager"-->check "Proccesor" item is Mobile Pentium 4 processor.
Fix problem:
1)Fixed sometimes NorthBridge provide too low "charge pump" to CPU, cause system action abnormal.
2)Update new cpu microcode(M08F291A) for transportable cpu change cpu string.
How to install:
1) Download BIOS file from BenQ web site
2) Unzip this BIOS file in your local hard disk folder like C:\TEMP\
3) Prepare one bootable floppy disk or bootable CD that doesn't include himem.sys and emm386.exe
4) Using this bootable floppy disk or CD boot to DOS mode
5) Go to the BIOS file folder like C:\TEMP\
6) Run the file ¡§EI2FLASH.bat¡¨, after finish bios updated, system will reboot.
7) While reboot, press F2 to enter BIOS menu, select "Get Default Values" in Exit field and then click enter button to load bios default setting.
8) Select "Save Changes and Exit" to save bios setting and then exit.

1) Power on machine
2) While reboot, press "F2" to enter BIOS menu
