WinXp scomparso..

Vi espongo il mio problema: oggi accendo il PC sul quale ho win e ubuntu, arriva il bootmanager (GRUB se non ri cordo male) e con mio sommo stupore noto che win xp è scomparso dalla lista. Che strano! Non mi sembra di aver toccato nulla a riguardo del boot!
Ora...come posso ripristinare nella lista di boot (menu.lst) la selezione (predefinita) per windows xp?

aggiungi questo in /boot/grub/menu.lst (hd0,0 supponendo che windows sia sulla prima partizione del primo canale eide)
ovviamente per editare questo file devi essere root

dunque...ho fatto come mi hai detto tu. Ora mi da winxp nella lista..però se provo ad accedere torna di nuovo alla selezione dei s.o.
Win è sulla prima partizione dell'hdd sul primo canale..cosa c'è che non va?
