wep e ipw2100

Ciao a tutti,
ma a voi funziona bene il wep con Intel Pro/wireless 2100? :mbe:
Io non riesco a farlo andare :muro:

Ho provato a seguire le istruzioni presenti su http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/faq.php#qa_1_6
Ho rimesso il file di configurazione /etc/rc.d/rc.wireless.conf originale , ovvero senza nessun parametro settato da me per il wireless, di modo che tutti i parametri per connettersi (essid, key, ..) li prendesse ad riga di comando e non li leggesse dal file di configurazione. e poi ho dato i comandi:

% modprobe ipw2100
% iwconfig eth1 essid microNET
% iwconfig eth1 key open s:xxxxxxxxxx
% ifconfig eth1 up


Ma niente! :cry:

Allora ho provato a mettere i parametri dentro /etc/rc.d/rc.wireless.conf, che riporto di seguito:
