Ciao a tutti, volevo capire un paio di cose che sto cercando di risolvere da tempo ma senza esito positivo:
1. Se su grub aggiungo vga=791, il risultato è una bella schermata nera fino all'avvio di kdm, nonostante nella compilazione del kernel, abbia attivato Frame buffer (VESA), Boot Logo e Frame Buffer console support tutto come Built-in.
Se anzichè compilare il kernel con il metodo debian-way, lo compilo con il classico make bzImage && make modules && make modules_install, il vga=791 funziona, solo che poi (ovviamente) ho un kernel-panic.
2. Ad ogni reboot, devo eseguire alsaconf perchè altrimenti l'audio non va.

I moduli per la scheda audio, mi sembra ci siano tutti sia prima che dopo e i volumi (con alsamixer) risultano sempre allo stesso livello sia prima che dopo, solo che prima non va e poi va :muro:
Inoltre, volevo capire come posso eliminare quei maledettissimi moduli [permanent] che non hanno nulla a che vedere con il mio hardware.
So che c'è di mezzo initrd (che sto iniziando ad odiare), ma non sono ancora riuscito a compilare un kernel che funzioni senza :cry:
