COmpatibilità compactflash I & II

Scusate ragazzi, ma sono ancora un neofita nel campo della fotografia digitale:

una macchina che dichiara compatibilità con le schede compactflash di tipo II accetta anche schede di tipo I ?

Eventualmente, se non c'é scritto sulla scheda come si capisce la compatibilità ?
