Problema con scheda PCI USB 2.0: un conflitto IRQ?

Ho comprato una scheda PCI usb 2.0 VIA 6202.
La monto, installo i driver, viene rilevata. Tutto ok.
Ma se provo a collegarci un box di acquisizione, pochi secondi al massimo ed il PC si resetta.

Deve essere per forza la scheda, perchè usando il box con qualsiasi altro ingresso usb (1.0) si vede una schifezza, ma funziona e sopratutto il PC rimane in funzione.

Dopo aver provato un po' di soluzioni senza successo, mi sono fatto un giro nel campo per me ostile degli IRQ.
Questa è la situazione che mi si è presentata:

Possibile che TUTTE le PCI abbiano lo stesso IRQ 9?
Come faccio a cambiarlo? Devo assegnarlo secondo un principio particolare?

E' Windows che gestisce in questo modo gli IRQ. Io, con Win2k, sul 9 ho:

- Sistema compatibile ACPI Microsoft
- RADEON 7000 SERIES
- Host controller universale 82371AB/EB da PCI a USB
- Controller IDE Promise Technology Inc. Ultra66
- Creative SB Live! Value
- Bt878, WDM Video Capture
- 3Com EtherLink XL 10/100 PCI For Complete PC Management NIC (3C905C-TX)

Cmq io proverei a spostare la scheda in un altro slot libero, magari risolvi.

No, allora non capisco. Da cosa si vede se ci sono conflitti IRQ?
Purtroppo a spostare la scheda ho già provato senza risultati.

sbaglio o le schede USB2 con chipset via sono dichiaratamente non funzionanti?

If Windows XP:

Have you installed at least SP1?

Have you installed the USB hotfixes files from the Microsoft website?

Have you installed the updated driver?

Have you read the Event Viewer file?

Do you have any reported resources\IRQ conflicts?

You say that the computer resets itself. You should Disable the Autorestart in Control Panel, this way, instead of rebooting it will give you an Error message.

Yup, of course. Didn't install the SP2, however (no intention of doing it, either).

Can't say for sure. I probably did, if they were released before or shortly after the SP1. Have you got a specific one in mind?

Yup, I also tried googling the most interesting of the error messages, but no prize.

'course not, I would have mentioned it. Never had one.
