Scusate lo sfogo, nel caso chiudete il topic, ma questa proprio non riesco a mandarla giù :mad:

An update on Bad Brain Entertainment's homepage reveals that their attempts to secure the rights to Sam & Max 2 from LucasArts have failed:


It was so degrading!
We tried everything to bring you the game you all wanted. But it seems all hope has gone. They broke of negotiations. But you truly have to believe that it wasn't our fault and it sure wasn't the money. We just don't know and they don't tell.

But we don't give up that easy. There is still a glimpse of hope and Steve Purcell is the one who is in charge now. We are talking ... and we are hopeing ... again.

BBE are running a petition via their forums if you wish to add your voice.

Ma scusa, Sam & Max sono roba sua, perchè dovrebbe cedere o vendere i diritti? Che te ne frega?
Addirittura per te è così importante giocare a S&M2 che vorresti vedere una persona ridotta in miseria? :eek:
Imho fa bene a tenersi i diritti, chissà che ciofeca verrebbe se li desse ad altri.
Magari in un futuro non troppo remoto potremo vedere un S&M2 fatto con i crismi... magari su console. :asd: :p

Sono quasi certo che la Lucas sta progettando nuovi seguiti in quanto a differenza di ciò che si legge in quanto:
1- Non vuole vendere i diritti: Perchè? Sarebbe tutto di guadagnato no.
2- E da tempo che voci di corridoio dicono che la Lucas sta sfornando un nuovo seguito (molti pensano che siano Sam&Max 2, altri pensano Maniac Mansion 3, altri ancora The Dig 2, ...si esclude Monkey Island ma non si sa)
3- La società stessa si sta accorgendo che le vendite non sono delle migliori (non si campa mica solo con Star Wars), ma le vendite maggiori sono state ottenute facendo proprio Adventure prettamente 2d!
