Salve a tutti.
Come da titolo, non riesco a modificare la frequenza di aggioramento del monitor tramite xfree86 (in mandrake 10.0).

P.S. ho anche un altro errore con cube:

Madò yara... perchè è così incasicato quell' XF86Config?

non so onestamente come risolvere il problema, perchè il mio ha dentro qualche comando diverso.

LOL, ma il fatto è che se io setto per esempio su Horizontal 68 e su vertical 85 (quelle del mio monitor) X crasha e non posso + accedervi....devo perforza rimettere le impostazioni originali :confused:

A me Ubuntu era partito con il refresh dello schermo decisamente basso, a 60Hz.
Ciò era dovuto al fatto che non aveva riconosciuto il monitor.
Ho quindi impostato questa parte:

Il monitor è un SyncMaster 900NF, come ho scritto li, infatti, e gli HorizSync e VertRefresh li ho copiati dall'OSD del mio monitor.

Leggendo il tuo config mi è parso che i range fossero abbastanza ristretti.
A te X crasha anche se vari solo il secondo numero nel pazzo che ti ho postato qui?
Perchè al limite puoi variare solo il range delle frequenze ammesse e poi andare a modificare a mano all'interno del tool grafico di competenza.
