Problema Suse e divx, xvid

Salve a tutti.
Ho un problema un po fastidioso con SusE:
Non riesco a vedere nessun divx/xvid.
Anche se installo da divx.com il pacchetto divx4linux il risultato e' sempre lo stesso:
sento l'audio ma non vedo il video :(
Qualcuno sa dirmi perchè?
Uso Kaffeine come media player

per i codec ti consiglio di installarli da qui http://packman.links2linux.de/
dopo che li hai installati fai una prova, se non riesci s vedere nulla, metti su mplayer e li vedi di sicuro!

beh, la compilazione e installazione di mplayer da sorgenti non è mai stata cosa facile...
personalmente non mi ci sono mai scervellato tanto!
perchè non lo installi da rpm?
sempre dal sito che ti ho detto prima...
inoltre se vuoi semplificare ancora di più le cose puoi installarlo anche da yast!
basta che leggi questa piccola guida:

ci metti un minuto per la configurazione di yast... e poco di più per l'installazione di mplayer, dipende dalla connessione internet.
(se hai la 9.1 e mi pare che ce l'hai, alla voce directory, invece di scrivere suse/9.2, metti ovviamenti suse/9.1/
mi raccomando lo slash finale.)

mi sa che in queste due righette c'è scritto qualcosa che val la pena di considerare !!!
esiste in rete uno script che ti da una mano per installare mplayer ( specialmente in suse in quanto devi passargli alcuni parametri in sede di compilazione) se non sbaglio si chiama compilamplayer.sh .... in www.linuxdesktop.it dovresti trovare qualcosa a riguardo

In realtà compilare mplayer è abbastanza facile... si arrangia! :eek:
A patto di seguire le varie guide (ad esempio copiare i codec win32 nella dir apposita PRIMA del configure, e passare --enable-gui al configure se vuoi gmplayer). Comunque in giro puoi sempre trovare l'rpm.
