K8NS problema con 9600XT....Bios F10 !

Se vi può interessare questo è il mio problema segnalato a gigabyte:

......the PC will crash with every type of game or during a 3dmark test (2001se or 2003 is not important...) and a VPU recover message appear on the desktop. This happens only with the AGP at 8X. If I set the AGP at 4X in the bios or in the Catalyst control pannel, the computer works fine without crash......:muro:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your kindly mail and supporting GIGABYTE.
About the issue you mentioned in your earlier mail, attached is the latest version BIOS for the motherboard (F10F.exe). You should be able to update it with the attached flash utility and try again later. After bios updating, please do not forget to load BIOS fail-safe default setting and please also do not try to overclock your system at this moment.

Unfortunately, if the problem still remains, we suggest you contact your retailer/supplier, or, contact with local distributor for checking and repairing. io non ho mai avuto problemi di sqs tipo.. forse xchè disabilitavo il VPU recover!

Non dipende dalla vpu recovery, ma dalla pessima gestione agp 8x di quella scheda madre che non riesce a tenere appunto quella configurazione e bisogna settarla 4x se non si vogliono fastidi. Ciao

Anch'io soffro dello stesso problema .... proverò sicuramente il nuovo bios (speriamo bene).

Devo dire che ho anche qualche problema di cold boot a 300 HT 1:1 ... nessuno di voi soffre della stessa anomalia? Sembra che non tenga i settaggi di overclok oltre i 250 HT :muro:

Si il bios F10 beta funziona con 2 banchi a 400mhz......ma non c'è niente da fare con agp a 8x....ho riscritto alla giga e mi hanno risposto che sono terribilmente dispiaciuti ma non hanno mai riscontrato il mio problema e nessuno si è mai lamentato in proposito .... :confused:

Mi consigliano di farmi sostituire la mobo in garanzia.......maaaaaaaa andiamo non prendiamoci in giro!!!:mad:

io ho la 9600xt della asus con la tua stessa scheda e i giochi mi vanno tutti bene. ho messo i driver omega e non mi si è mai bloccato per ora. a parte rare volte.

Io non darei la colpa alla Giga...
io ho la 9800 pro a xt e mai un problema..
con le 9600xt ho sentito parecchi avere problemi simili anche su schede madri di alta fascia

avevo un mobo asrock k7-880 upgrade
e scheda video radeon 9550 e ho avuto lo stesso problema dell'agp che a 8x era instabile a 4x no..nn credo che sia sl un problema gigabyte xkè l'utente che mi ha aiutato a risolvere il problema aveva un altra schedamadre diversa dalla mia e daaalla tua..
quindi il pèroblema credo riguardi i chipset radeon 9550 e 9600 che credo siano gli stessi..
