Con questi due giochi, e solo con questi due, lo schermo diventa tutto nero con scritto al centro "warning: out of range". Ho aggiornato driver scheda video (geforce 2 mx) driver monitor e directx, ma nulla. Ho fatto una ricerca su internet ed ho scoperto che il monitor si protegge dalle frequenze troppo alte in questo modo (cosa che è scritta anche sul manuale del monitor). Ora, sul desktop ho provato i vari settaggi consentiti, con refresh a 60, 75 e 85, ma nulla. Ho pensato che probabilmente sono i due giochi ad avere un refresh alto, così mi sono scaricato due programmi chiamati RefreshForce e RefreshLock che dovrebbero servire a bloccare le frequenze, ma non funzionano. Qualcuno potrebbe darmi qualche suggerimento su come risolvere la situazione? Ho fatto anche un giro per forum inglesi ma ho trovato solo questa soluzione che non ho capito molto bene (l'inglese non è proprio il mio forte) qualcuno me la può spiegare?:

If you have a graphicsadapter with an nvidia chip this can be done from the display properties menu in windows, in the GeForce tab.
In that tab there's a menu option called "Refresh Rate Override".
I set it up to always be 75Hz for the most common resolutions, ie 800x600 / 1024x768 / 1280x1024.
Worked great for me.
When I first installed it, the game was trying to run a refresh rate of 143Hz, so it's got to be something they've overlooked. No monitors I know of support that refresh rate at anything near common resolutions."
