Microsoft rilascerà 3 versioni di "XBOX Next"??
According to reports streaming in from some loose-penned European press, Microsoft will release three different versions of the Xbox Next. The standard Xbox Next will be a basic gaming console. The Xbox Next HD will include a hard drive. Then, about a year later, the Xbox Next PC will be released as a fully-functioning Windows Media Center PC, all in a package smaller than the current Xbox. It is slated to come with a wireless mouse and keyboard and a CD Burner. This should cause some healthy consumer confusion next year while making things difficult on developers. Keep in mind chances are good the thing won’t even be called Xbox “Next.” Fanboys, start your engines!
News 2: XBOX Next e PlayStation 3 useranno la stessa CPU IBM??
It’s possible that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 2 could use what will end up the same IBM CPU. According to insider Alex Albrecht, an unnamed source told him that IBM is selling the same processor to both companies. While IBM is “moving around parts” to disguise the fact, if this rumor turns out to be true, the fanboys’ heads are going to be exploding in amazing fashion. Either that or they’ll have to learn a bit more about GPUs and Blu-Ray in order to further the inevitable arguments over which console is better.
CELL non sarebbe più esclusiva Sony!
News 3: XBOX Next, emergono dettagli concreti sul chip grafico
The graphics tech in question is ATI's R500, which will allow Xbox games to use Shader Model 3.0 technology. This means crisper, more detailed graphics with greater and more precise contrast between light and dark areas. Shader Model 3.0 is already in use on some PC games - Far Cry is a good example - and the next generation of PC graphics cards will all incorporate it.
Queste sono le 3 grandi news per questa console, a voi la parola! :D
