Ciao a tutti!
- in modalità provvisoria senza driver funziona...
A I U T A T E M I
NN so che fare? E' rotta?
Hello,
I have a brand new system containing:
- Asus P4C800-E deluxe motherboard
- Asus radeon 9600 xt/td
- 1 Gb ram
I have used various drivers: from the one delivered with the card, the ati catalyst 4.9 drivers and the one from DNA
All give problems and when playing Eve the system hangs sooner or later and I need reboot the system (shut down power).
Does anyone have the same/similar setup and a driver that works?
Thanks..
Brunis

When i got my new GFX card i also had problems with it, the solution for me was to set it to AGP 4x and disable fastwrite in both BIOS and driver (this will not give less performance).
Later i fixed all my problems by buying another motherboard.

Had a similar problem with my 9600Pro. Any DirectX 9 game would cause it to hang within 1-5 minutes.
Solution (complete cure to consistent problem) was to slightly increase the voltage to the AGP slot - an extra 0.1 or 0.2V. The card has substantial hardware support for DirectX 9, so I surmise draws extra power when running them. And with not quite enough voltage this made it hang.
 :muro: :muro: :mc:
