Le periferiche ed in generale l'hardware (cpu, mobo etc.) acquistato in America funziona in Italia?

Vi faccio questa domanda visto la differenza di tensione della corrente elettrica utilizzata nei due paesi.

Si, visto che gli alimentatori che usiamo sono settabili a differenti voltaggi.

1. Modems intended for use in the USA have a different plug than the Italian socket. You will need an Italian-shaped Modem/Telephone cable or adaptor. After you do this, it probably still won’t work, because the wires in the cable terminal in your Modem or Modem card are not connected to the correct terminals at the Italian end of the cable.

2. The dial-tone is different in the United States. Correct this by selecting ‘Ignore dial tone’ in your Modem/Dialup settings. If this does not work, you may need to go to the ‘Advanced’ settings of your Modem Configuration Control Panel and in the text box ‘Extra Settings’, type the command: X3L3
