nessuna distro mi vede il secondary master, mi vedono il primary master, slave il secondary slave, ma il master no! solo windows e le distro linux live cd!
guardando bene mi da un messaggio di errore durante il boot di debian che dice che ide 1 master è in collisione con un altra periferica, ma nn so quale nn lo dice!!!
ho una scheda abit ic7max3! cioè aiutatemi nn so più che fare, mi tocca rinunciare a linux x na cazzata del genere!!! :(
Sicuro di non aver impostato due drive come master o come slave sullo stesso cavo ide ? Controlla bene i jumper.

dovresti trovarlo dentro

prova a cercarlo e a postarelo inseime a qualche riga prima e dopo

Stai usando il Kernel 2.4.18 della debian , probabilmente è un po' troppo antico .
Dovresti usare un disco di installazione + nuovo per installare un kernel + recente (se vuoi ti mando un disco mini di Sarge RC1 da 8MB ) .
Oppure (soluzione + semplice ) metti un kernel + recente .
Ti consiglio di Upgradare prima a Sarge o SID , a sto punto metti un kernel + recente che supporta il tuo sistema relativamente nuovo

Per i messaggi di avvio, in genere, sarebbe meglio attivare anche il servizio bootlogd.
no aspe raga, io su gentoo, ho cacciato su il kernel 2.6.7 ho pure provato il .8.1 ma dava problemi alla scheda audio, ma cmq il secondary master nn viene visto! :(
e poi cmq anche le distro live che ho provato hanno un kernel 2.4 vecchio eppure loro nn mi danno questo problema e funziona tutto bene! :confused:
scheda madre difettosa nn credo propio xchè su windows e le distro live tutti e 4 i device sui canali ide funzionano alla perfezione!

tanto x cominciare quanti cavolo di controller ide mi trova?
ho addirittura hdf!!!!! :confused:
e poi xchè il primo controllor mi dice not 100% compatible, mentre il secondo 100% compatible? :confused:
nn lo trovo da nessuna parte. cmq c'è del casino con i controller ide e l'sata che da quanto ho visto nn vengono riconosciuti correttamente! solo che nn so come fare visto che nemmeno i kernel 2.6 li riconoscono correttamente!
cmq nn uso sata solo i canali ide 2 hd, mast e dvd, il controller sata lo disattivo ma si vede che da rogne lo stesso! :(

l'errore ho scoperto che nn c'entra nulla con i controller ide, era una cosa della scheda audio!
cmq nn è cambiato nulla funziona tutto cioè male come prima!
credo sia incompatibilità tra linux e l'abit ic7 max3! :(
anche xchè qualsiasi altro sistema che nn sia linux mi rileva tutti i device correttamente!
