sintetizzatore... ?

scusate l'ignoranza, ma qualcuno me lo dovrà spiegare... che cosa è un sintetizzatore? e soprattutto cosa potrei farci io povero pirla che so giusto cantare e suonare un po' di chitarra?

lo chiedo perchè mi hanno proposto un Sintetizzatore Roland J-800 a 400 euro trattabili e vorrei capire a cosa potrei usarlo e se è un buon prezzo
