Help da chi ha win 98/me

io ho xp ma devo installare il nuovo bios. dalle istruzioni sul sito della msi per i sistemi non fat (con xp uso ovviamente ntfs) serve un disco di avvio proprio di win98 o me e non di altri sistemi.

avrei bisogno quindi di uno zip con i file relativi da copiarmi in un floppy.... chi mi fa sto piacere?

ma io l'ho sempre fatto da un qualsiasi floppy di avvio anche creato da xp...

cmq anke io la sapevo cosi ma nelle istruzioni dice:

5.Boot the computer using a windows ME or windows 98 startup disk. It must be one of these! A plain boot disk will not be good enogh.
If you do not have Windows ME or 98 to create the floppy you can make one on a friend's computer.

6.When boot is done there will be a message on the screen showing :"Diagnostic tools were successfully loaded to drive" followed by a single letter.
This letter is the leter assigned to the RAMDRIVE. This RAMDRIVE is a virtual drive in the system memory and can be accessed and controlled like any other drive with DOS commands such as:
MD - Make Directory
Copy - copy a file
Deleate - Deleate a file

There is one important difference which is that being in the system memory this drive is wiped once the computer is restarted or shut down.

veramente ti dice semplicemente che deve essere un floppy avviabile.. nulla di più... che se ci metti un floppy vuoto.. nn parte.. ;)

mi faceva capire che deve essere uno di quei due perchè un altro boot disk non va bene
