Firefox & Explorer

Beh ho provato per 2 mesi Firefox e non c'è nulla da dire: un ottimo browser GRATUITO e completamente OPENSOURCE con qualche piccola pecca ma cmq buonissimo.

Molti diranno... Beh Explorer è = e se nn fosse per il tabbed browsing (molto comodo, ma forse nn lo si nota molto rispetto ad Explorer che nn lo ha, ma ha il sistema di raggruppamento applicazioni), perchè installarlo?

Il Firefox è ottimo per gli sviluppatori: rispetta gli STANDARD HTML e W3C ecc ecc ...
Inoltre "prova" a supportare tutti i tipi di documenti in fase di sperimentazione come l' x-mixed o l' x-mixed-replace: esempio pratico le pagine che si aggiornano in tempo reale aggiungendo testo aggiuntivo in fase di caricamento.

Quindi direi di porre fine ai dibattiti sui browser alternativi, dato che sto vedendo (non sono nessuno ma da fastidio) che si sono formate le solite 2 fazioni che si scannano tra di loro.

per esperienza posso dirti che il modo peggiore per porre fine ad una diatriba è aprirne un thread a riguardo... :muro:

L'ho provato così perchè mi ero rotto di girare in siti pieni di popup dialers ecc... ed avere lo sfondo riempito di icone di signorine discinte. E' veramente stabile, gratuito ed aggiornato spesso.

In più permette risparmiare plug-in dubbi (come la barra di google blocca popup che chissà quante volte chiama casa) e DAP o Getright data che gestisce i download da solo.
Consiglio di provare anche l'ottimo Thunderbird (il client della posta di www.mozilla.org)
