riusciresti a sapere se è la rev 1.1?

Bios Issue Date:2004/06/16
BIOS ID:1.5

1. Support CPU multiplier adjustable (for KV8 Pro v1.1 only).
2. Fixed an issue where the PS/2 wheel mouse does not respond under certain conditions:
1. Using certain PS/2 wheel mice and certain USB keyboards.
2. PS/2 wheel mouse works fine but loses response on 1st, 3rd, and 5th.... time restarting windows. However, it works fine on 2nd, 4th…. windows restart.
3. For "PS/2 wheel mouse + PS/2 keyboard" and "USB wheel mouse + USB keyboard ", there no problems at all.
3. Fixed the issue that system may shutdown when CPU FAN disconnected even if CPU FAN SPEED monitoring disabled.
4. Synchronize with Hardware monitor value, if Voltage value changed.
5. When S3 resume CPU Clock back to pervious mode.
6. Increase CPU FSB to 336MHz.
7. Set the low limit value of CPU Voltage warning.

Arrivata!!!

The other part of ABIT's 3rd Eye System is Guru Clock. Bundled with select AA8-DuraMAX, AG8, and AV8 motherboards, Guru Clock acts as an external display, allowing the user to monitor critical system information quickly and easily. With conventional hardware monitoring software, users would traditionally have to exit full screen applications to access system temperatures, voltages, and fan speeds. With its large, easy-to-read LCD display, Guru Clock makes this information available at a glance. Now, users no longer have to interrupt what they are doing to monitor their systems. What's more, Guru Clock allows users to cycle through the overclocking presets set up in OC Guru at a touch of a button. With Guru Clock, gamers can speed up their systems mid-game and really turn up the heat on the competition.

One of the most annoying things is being kicked back to the desktop whenever a new e-mail or MSN message is received while using a full screen application. Now, with its convenient E-mail and MSN Notification function, users can be notified when a new message is received via the Guru Clock's LCD display. For users whose systems are positioned on the floor, Guru Clock with its convenient system power on/off button is a real back saver, allowing users to power on and off from the comfort of their desk top.

Installing the Guru Clock is easy. Just connect the Guru Clock to a free USB port, and enjoy the power and convenience of the 3rd Eye. Only from ABIT.

The other area that differentiates these boards is the included features, and how well they do or don't work. Here, we have to eliminate the Abit KV8 PRO, which is an excellent board otherwise because it is still caught up in teething pains. The 2nd board that we received does have a working PCI/AGP lock, verified by PCI Geiger, but it is still the only board in this roundup without ratios for the CPU. This feature alone makes the working PCI/AGP lock much less useful than it might be otherwise. Also, it strangely boots a 10X CPU at 9X. We are confident that Abit will fix what is wrong with the KV8 PRO. The Abit will likely become an outstanding board, but for now, there are still too many things wrong with the KV8 PRO to recommend it.
