salve ragazzi

sto usando lo script di configurazione speedtouchconf del 22-04-04 lo lancio da root tramite sh speedtouchconf.sh ad un certo punto si blocca la luce del modem diventa rossa (la seconda)e rimane fissa così......

quseto è ciò che mi dice.....

le periferiche usb funzionano(almeno la chiavetta)
il modem è il manta quello verde
la distro è knoppix 3.4 con kernel 2.6.5

da quanto ho trovato su internet il kernel 2.6.5 mi carica uhci_hcd anzichè usb_uhci quindi il problema pare essere questo oltre al fatto che uhci:hcd sembra per lo script usare il modem

ora non so cosa fare visto che lo script funziona su kernel 2.4.6(il quale non mi riconosce il mouse)e col quale infatti sono ora connesso.....

è ovvio che sono molto a digiuno di linux consigli su come agire?

Ah gia` :doh:
Cmq, non conosco lo script in questione (speedtouchconf), ma se i vari programmini (modem_run, ppp) li ha installati, e il problema e` solo quel modulo, caricalo e poi lancia tu il modem_run e ppp, cosi`:
modem_run -m -f /percorso/mgmt.o
pppd call adsl

tutto cio` nel caso che tu stia usando il driver user-space
