Plextor DVD PX-712SA e notebook

Se collegassi il mast. in oggetto al mio notebook tramite una scheda PCMCIA SATA (Magnex per es.) avrei un incremento di prestazioni rispetto ad un mast. DVD USB2.0 ? Che ne pensate ?
