Trojan PSW.Briss.c

Sul PC dove lavoro l'antivirus mi ha trovfato due file infetti nel file temporanei di internet.
Il trojan horse è il PSW.Briss.c.
L'antivirus me li ha rilevati ma non eliminati.
Per toglierli ho riavviato in modalità provvisoria, eliminato i file inm oggetto e poi riavviato.
Adesso sembra tutto a posto.
Secondo voi ho fatto la giusta procedura?
Oppure ho dimanticato qualcosa?

I recently ran AVG Free antivirus software (www.grisoft.com) on a friend's PC because he was complaining of various problems, and it detected not only the Trojan Horse Downloader.Small.4.D, but also Downloader.Dyfica.AJ (in two files), PSW.Briss.A, and PSW.Briss.B. These were found attached to the following files:

In the C:\Windows\System directory:

A.exe

Bridge.dll


In the C:\Windows\Temp directory:

Optimize.exe

Bridge.exe

CLN9352.tmp


From my own research, these files come from two places:


1. Installing, knowingly or unknowingly, spyware applications.


2. Installing a fake "crack", called "crack.exe", from the Internet for various applications.


AVG Free Edition managed to wipe out these files without any problem. Also, F-Prot (run from DOS) has been know to take care of these viruses very well. After "healing" your files, you should run a spyware checker, such as Ad-aware or Spybot, to remove any spyware files that may have been left behind. Bridge.exe, Bridge.dll, and A.exe have been known to re-install themselves otherwise.

Presumibilmente questo metodo funziona anche sulla tua versione C del virus.

Ti ringrazio per l'interessamento.
Ma non sembra il mio caso.
Infatti i file infetti erano nelle cartelle temporanee di IE (purtroppo sul PC del posto di lavoro si usa ancora questo:( :( ) in un file .cab
Probabilmente erano presente questo trojan ma non si era ancora installato.
Avg me lo ha rilevato ma non tolto.
A questo punto ho provato con la procedura descritta ll'inizio e per adesso sembra aver funzionato.
