Mandrake9.2 error exec -- Knoppix X-Server

Salve ragazzi ho cercato di installare Mandrake 9.2 su due macchine.

Una e' un vecchio pentium 200 mmx e l'altra un celeron 1Ghz.

Avviata l'installazione sembra riconoscere l'hardware, poi passa ad una fase un cui carica dei file in memoria, ma l'operazione sembra non finire ed ho questo errore su entrambi i pc.

Da cosa dipende?
Poi ho provato a far partire il pc con il CD di Knoppix 3.3 release 2004-02-09 BETA, ma ho avuto un altro problema, cioe' per entrambe le configurazioni succede questo, ossia parte il riconoscimento hardware ma poi ho questo errore

x Mandrake:
succedeva anche a me. Sembra un errore di lettura del cd e da quello che ho potuto vedere va completamente a c.... dipende dalla combinazione hardware che possiedi. Io ho risolto facendogli fare il boot in modalità testo e aggiungendo al prompt "linux noauto".
