definizione inglese

scusate raga mi serve una definizione di hardware in inglese...il testo di 5 anni fa del mio prof. dice cosi':
is the term given to all the electronic and mechanical gadgetry which together forms a computer system............il che non solo mi sembra riduttivo ma è quasi un insulto a cio' che amo...help rielaborate quella minchiata con una definizione da 10

The word "Hardware" like many other words in English, can be used in different instances and have a totally different meanig. For example:

Auto Hardware=Componenti di una FIAT!

Home Hardware=Materiale Edibile

Garden Hardware=Attrezzi da Giardino

Computer Hardware=Componenti Meccanici nel PC

The above statement is correct, but it doen't say anything about its tremendous complexity. The computer is the most complex machine that humans ever invented and every day it becomes more and more powerful.

By the way, the "mortadella" is not Hardware!

la definizione del tuo prof è corretta, in fondo l'hardware è davvero la parte "hard" del pc, quella fisica, e non quella "soft", diciamo "intangibile" :cool:

in caso è proprio questo che manca (IMHO), cioé una definizione di hardware contrapposta a quella di software, che è una parte nn meno importante del pc!
