linux utilities download

Ciao a tutti ,sto cercando un qualche sito,ben fornito, per scaricare utilities Linux (stile download.com), in particolare mi servirebbe un software di controllo hw (temperatura cpu + temp chipset, monitoraggio tensione...ecc) da installare su un pc che non spengo mai...

scusate, ho installato lm_sensors, ma ora come si avvia ? ho provato a cercarlo con find, ma non ho trovato nulla che gli assomigli. Come si chiama l'eseguibile ?

per vedere da shell le Temp.

per lanciare lm_sensor:
/etc/init.d/rc.x/lm_sensor start|stop

e in slack

/etc/rc.d/rc.lm_sensor start|stop
