questa è la lista dell' agg...di chi l'ha provato!

I had already published this, but it is hidden in a branch somewhere.
So, here it is just to keep it tidy:

SET button func. when shooting.
0: Default (no function)
1: Change quality
2: Change parameters
3: Menu display
4: Image replay

I fully tested this one and it works

Shutter release w/o CF card

0: Possible without CF card
1: Not possible

I fully tested this one and it works. Useful if you ever lost
photos cause you forgot to put the CF

Flash Sync speed in Av mode

0: Auto
1: 1/200sec (fixed)

I have not tried this

Shutter button / AE lock button

0: AF/AE Lock
1: AE Lock/AF
2: AF/AF lock, no AE lock
3 AE/AF, no lock

This is probably one of the most wished for settings, but I do not
think it works. I tried it, and it didn't seem to work. I even
tried turning the camera off.
The only thing I didn't try was removing the batteries to
initialize the camera. Can someone try that???

AF-Assist Beam / Flash firing

0: Emits/Fires
1: Does not emit/Fires
2: Only ext. flash emits/Fires
3: Emits/does not fire

This one does not appear to work.

Exposure level increments:
0: 1/2-stop
1: 1/3 stop

This one works. At least the steps between aperture change on the
display. Remains to be seen if it has consequences on the hardware.

AF point registration
0: center point
1: lower point
2: mid-right point
3: right-most point
4: 7 points
5: left-most point
6: mid-left point
7: upper point

It would seem that this would replace the command we already have
for setting the focus point. But that is not the case. I don't know
what they mean by registration. Any thought on this?

RAW+JPEG rec.
0:RAW+Small Normal
1:RAW+Small Fine
2:RAW+Medium Normal
3: RAW+Medium Fine
4:RAW+Large Normal
5:RAW+Large Fine

I haven't tried this, cause it requires filling up the card to
notice the difference. But I suppose it does work.

Bracket. sequence/Auto cancel.
0:0,-,+/Enable
1:0.-,+/Disable
2:-,0,+/Enable
3:-,0,+/Disable

I tried this and it didn't work

Superimposed display
0:On
1:Off

I have no idea what this is.
Doesn't seem to work, though

Menu button display position
0:Previous (top if powered off)
1:Previous
2:Top.
I'm not sure I undrstood this one, but it seems to allow you to
pick the first pic to be shown when you press display.
If that is the case, it doesn't work

Mirror lockup
0:Disable
1:Enable

Now, this was a real disappointment. It might even work, but how do
you give it the command to lift the mirrror? No luck in finding it
(

Assist button function
0:Normal
1:Select Home Position
2:Select HP (while pressing)
3:AV+/- (AF point by QCD)
4:FE Lock

I guess we're out of luck here, since the 300D AFAIK doesn't even
have the assist button. But have you noticed a small hole in the
back, where your thumb is supposed to sit? I wonder if that was the
place where the button was supposed to fit if it hadn't been
crippled.

Auto reduction of fill flash

0:Enable
1:Disable

I'm not sure what this does. Anyone can tell me how to test it?

Shutter curtain sync
0:1st-curtain sync
1:2nd-curtain sync

Possibly tonight's greatest disappointment. It didn't work. I even
tried it with an external manual flash. Still doesn't work. Can
someone try it with the 420EX ?

Safety shift in Av or Tv
0:Disable
1:Enable

I have no idea what this should do.

Lens AF stop button function
0:AF stop
1:AF start
2:AE lock while metering
3:AF point: M->Auto/Auto->ctr.
4:ONE SHOT AI SERVO
5:IS start.

Now, this one looks the most promising of all, but I don't know what it truly means, and I seriously doubt it will work based on previous functions.
