conoscerete senz'altro i miei tentativi per vedere i filmati sulla tv (non che il tv-out non vada, ma non si vedono i dvd).

ho mandato una lettere alla ati che mi ha risposto nell'esaltnte tempoo di 3 ore :eek:

To output the computer display to the TV or VCR for recording purposes, you will want to play your video file Full Screen and enable PC2TV.

1024 X 768 TV Output is available using the All-in-Wonder Radeon 7500 and the Radeon 8500 ONLY ( Not the AIW Radeon 8500DV). You will need to ensure that most current display driver is installed. The Radeon 8500 display driver can be found at http://www.ati.com/support/products/pc/radeon8500/radeon8500drivers.html

All other products ONLY support 800 x 600 TV Output.

If your desktop is set to a higher resolution, you may experience a "virtual desktop"
(screen size is larger than the actual screen size and the mouse is needed to scroll around to see everything). To eliminate this, either disable PC2TV, disconnect the TV, or lower the resolution to a maximum of 800 X 600.

sono link a soluzioni per windows!
senza contare che dicono che a 1024*768 non và con la mia scheda, mentre vi assicuro che su win funzia benissimo (anche su linux, a parte i filmati...).

ma se non hanno voglia di portare avanti il supporto per linux, perchè non rilasciano almeno le specifiche sti simpaticoni??????:muro:

per loro fortuna il canada è lontano, altrimenti iniziavano a volare schiaffoni :D


PS: è anche molto bello dirmi cosa posso fare con la 8500, ma se gli dico che ho una 9000.... :rolleyes:

mi sa che levo anche dal 2.4 i loro driver e metto anche lì gli xfree....
intanto per come sono abili a risolvere il mio problema..... :muro:

Evitate di scrivere alla ATI. Le quote di mercato gli hanno dato alla testa.
Si sono dimostrati delle lingue biforcute.
