Strana mail = virus?

Stamattina ho ricevuto una mail (oggetto: registration confirmation) con il seguente testo:
"Thanks for your registration.
( We say Sorry again, the first mail was delivered to an unknown mail address.
This was a bug in our mailing system! )


The amount of 239.- USD was deducted by your credit card.

Welcome,
you can now visit more than 1200 very very hot web pages!
Your registration, pages and passwords are transferred in the attachment.

Con un allegato (ovviamente bloccato da Outlook) indicato così: yourregistration.pif

Qualcuno sa se si tratta di un virus?
Il mio antivirus (AVG) non ha segnalato nulla, per precauzione ho effettuato una scansione online sul sito della TrendMicro ma non è risultato nulla.
La mail mi è arrivata da un utente nella mia rubrica che però dice di non avermela inviata, il destinatario indicato non è il mio indirizzo ma un altro, che conosco ma non è nella mia rubrica.

Qualcuno ne sa qualcosa di questa mail, è arrivata anche ad altri?

E' il classico messaggio che serve a farti preoccupare per aprire l'allegato. Infatti nel messaggio ti dice che ti hanno addebbitato 200 e passa dollari sulla carta di credito. Non so che virus o che trojan possa esserci allegato ma se lo elimini senza pensarci 2 volte è meglio.

Sì, credo che sia proprio quello indicato da hannibal (Sober.C), tra i possibili testi dell'email compare proprio quello che è arrivato a me.
La mail è già cancellata da un po' :D e non ho nemmeno pensato per un attimo di aprire l'allegato :cool: quello che mi interessava era appunto sapere di che cosa si trattava, e perchè l'antivirus non mi abbia segnalato niente... Tra l'altro aggiornato proprio stamattina. Si tratta dell'AVG free, non vorrei che non fosse efficiente dato il fatto di essere gratuito, ma cmq neanche l'HouseCall di Trend Micro rilevava niente.
Forse perchè l'allegato era bloccato da Outlook e quindi cmq non era accessibile? :confused:
