Hotshoe / External Flash
The Coolpix 5700's flash hotshoe is of the ISO 518 standard type and supports Nikon's Speedlights SB-80DX, 50DX, 30, 29*, 28DX, 28, 27*, 26, 25, 24 ,23* ,22s. Show in the shot below with Nikon's SB-50DX Speedlight (looks a little more balanced than the 5000 did). Note that the 5700 does not support power zoom (it will not zoom the flash), nor does it support the AF-assist lamp or red-eye reduction systems built into some of these flash units.

The Coolpix 5700 also has a flash hotshoe (ISO, X-contact only) to which you can attach Nikon Speedlights 80DX, 50DX, 30, 28DX, 28, 26, 25, 24, and 22s. You can also use other accessories for off camera flash or studio flash trigger. The 5700 does not have a two way communications path with external Speedlights and thus does not support flash zoom, flash AF assist etc. Because of this the internal flash must be popped up so that the camera's photocell can measure the flash output of the external flash.

Sembrerebbe che per avere la funzione di misurazione del flash si può usare un flash esterno in abbinamento al quello in dotazione alla macchina.

O esistono alcuni flash che possono hanno la funzione zoom indipendentemente dall' uso del piccolo flash nel corpo macchina.

io un anno fa ci presi un bel sunpack 4000 e funziona molto bene..ciao:)

mizia, ti ringrazio per l' informazione, ma ad esempio la funzione zoom funziona se si alza il flash built in? Come sembra dalla seconda nota nella recensione.

Come dice anche in inglese, la 5700 non supporta la funzione zoom, quella dell'illuminatore ausiliario, ecc. :(

Qui spiega che la misurazione flash avviene attraverso una cellula presente sul flash integrato, quindi se vuoi usare un flash esterno DEVI alzare quello in dotazione. In poche parole la luce non è misurata in D-TTL (attraverso la lente) e quindi è il risultato è meno preciso. :(

Aggiungo che io uso un Nikon sb28 (non DX) proprio per queste motivazioni, visto che avere una versione di lampeggiatore dedicata al digitale non serve 'na sega sulla 5700. Purtroppo.
