Problema Matrox g400

Avevo un problema su un pentium III 800 MB con chipset Via kt133apollo 128 mb pc 100 e una Matrox g400 MAX 32MB. Quando crcavo di spegnere il pc da Windows mi dava una schermata blu. Per risolvere il problema ho aggiornato i drivers di scheda video e i via 4in1 ma adesso quando accendo il pc non riesce a caricare windowsme e da un errore "sistema operativo bloccato" riavviando il pc in modalità provvisoria e disistallando i driver della matrox il pc riparte senza problemi.

Ho letto che per risolvere la questione dovrei fare un bel formattone e quando reinstallo win devo prima istallare i 4in1 e poi i driver della scheda video. Premetto che ho già provato TUTTI i driver della matrox disponibili.

Qualcuno conosce un metodo alternativo visto che vorrei evitare di perdere tutto?

Grazie per la risposta a per la speranza ma ho un solo dubbio come disinstallo i driver Via All-In-One?

Inoltre ho letto sul forum della matrox che per risolvere un problema simile al mio ma su WIN 2k di usare questa procedura:

Try the following steps in this exact order.

- Uninstall your drivers with the uninstaller from here: http://www.matrox.com/mga/support/drivers/files/ftp_util2.cfm
- Boot directly in safe mode.
- Go in your device manager and delete all display adapters and monitors.
- Reboot and go in your system BIOS.
- Be sure that USB is enabled, PNP OS set to YES, Assign IRQ to VGA enabled and AGP aperture size set to 256 or the highest.
- Boot in normal mode.
- Upon detection of the card install drivers for standard VGA adapter from windows list only. Do not install Matrox drivers at this point.
- Install the latest patches for the chipset of the motherboard.
- Reboot.
- Install the latest Matrox drivers from here by running the SETUP.EXE file http://www.matrox.com/mga/support/drivers/latest/home.cfm

Che è molto simile alla tua, dici che potrebbe fungere anche su winme?
