help hdd rotto e niente scontrino

come da titolo, mi si è rotto l'hdd , è un wd da 180G , non trovo lo scontrino, ma sul hdd c'è la data è fa un anno a ieri, quindi sarebbe ancora in garanzia, cosa posso fare???
il negozio non lo riprende senza garanzia, a chi posso rivolgermi, visto che la data originale della wd è di un anno fa, e quindi avrei diritto alla garanzia...
help!!
