Tempo per la formattazione in background

Come faccio a sapere se la formattazione in background (mount rainer) è finita? So che posso scrivere anche durante la formattazione, ma vorrei anche sapere quando la formattazione in background è finita
Sto usanto incd 3.5.24.0
