Kingston, one of the world’s leading memory module manufacturers, today introduced its latest HyperX modules designed for overclockers and PC hardware enthusiasts. The novelties function at 466 and 500MHz speeds and are available in kits intended for dual-channel platforms as well as separately.
Kingston HyperX modules are equipped with aluminium heat-spreaders and come with lifetime-warranty. SPD settings of DDR500 and DDR400 modules are very moderate: both are programmed to function at CAS Latency 3 (3-4-4-8-1), hence, are more suitable for i865PE and i875P platforms that benefit from higher-speed more than from lower latencies, rather than NVIDIA nForce2 and VIA KT400/KT600 that benefit also from aggressive settings..
Kingston HyperX PC3700 and PC4000 memory modules are available in 256 and 512MB devices as well as in 512 or 1GB kits for dual-channel platforms. Details concerning pricing and availability are not touched upon at this time.
