:( Oltre agli albums a proprio nome (il mio preferito e' 'Change' del 1982), ottimi anche gli Lp delle sue coriste (Love Unlimited); interessanti anche quelli del suo ensemble (Love Unlimited Orchestra).
In questi dischi ci sono notevoli turnisti e strumentisti, in seguito diventati famosi e protagonisti di ottime carriere soliste: Ray Parker, Jr (con e senza i Raydio), Nathan East, Wah Wah Watson, David T. Walker, Dean Parks, Lee Ritenour, Ed Greene.
Un altro White (non sono parenti, e' uno dei cognomi piu' diffusi negli USA), Maurice, leader degli Earth Wind & Fire (il piu' grande gruppo degli anni 70 di musica afroamericana), e di tre anni piu' anziano di Barry, sta combattendo da anni col morbo di Parkinson :rolleyes: :(
Comunque, LOVE (AND 70's YEARS & MUSIC) WILL LIVE FOREVER.

anche io ho visto i simpson e mi ha fatto flashare la sua morte. Cmq questo alimentera' un mito immenso, costruito su una delle voci piu' coinvolgenti che abbia mai sentito... mi sa che mo scendo in macchina e mi riascolto una sua cassetta! Ciaobarry, la tua voce si fondera' con la brezza del vento caldo che ci avvolgera' in un sensuale abbraccio da qui alla fine del tempo.
