hard disk partizionato così...

Ho un HD partizionato in 2 con win2000 sulla prima e XP sulla seconda partizione.

In questo caso questo HD in lilo sarebbe hdb1(win2000) ed hdb2(winxp)

Quando li aggiungo al menu di lilo ed in lilo, all'avvio me li vede correttamente ma se scelgo una qualsiasi partizione win, mi rimane su loading e non mi carica nulla.

Che debbo da fà???

Lo hai aggiornato lilo? dopo averlo editato , devi scrivere lilo da shell..

winxp e 2000 hanno un loro loader, che evidentemente lilo ha sovrascritto, di più non ti so dire

Si, infatti me li aggiunge correttamente al menu di lilo ma se scelgo ad esempio win2000, mi dice: Loading windows2000......e qui rimane.

Non credo perchè se parto direttamente da hdb (il disco con i win), vedo il bootloader e i due win partono.

E' probabile che sia dovuto al fatto che devo installare lilo in hdb anzichè in hda ? :confused: :confused:

Il problema è che ho sempre usato questa configurazione ma adesso non mi va +.

Posso avviarli solo separatamente. :muro:

te lo chiedo in quanto avevo sentito dire che moltissime persone con red hat avevano problemi ad installare/configurare lilo su sistemi con 2 HD!!!
Al limite puoi sempre affidarti al bootloader di xp (win2k) per "bootare" linux ..... se fai una ricerca nel forum ci sono parecchi tread in cui è trattato l'argomento....

Prova invece di settare 2 opzioni (1 con hdb1 e l'altra con hdb2) a impostare solo "hdb" .

Se il boot loader di Win è installato là lo puoi attivare impostando solo hdb e non hdbX

Niente ragazzi.....non funziona.

Ho provato la soluzione suggeritami da anonimo veneziano ma se cerco di caricare "hdb" da linux mi rimane su LI.

Altre idee?
