<<Problem Description>>
Operating System : ALL
Hello, Ive buyed this motherboard (asus P4P800), a Pentium 4 2.8C and 2x256 Kingston HyperX
pc3500. The system works fine, but I have to keep the ram at the Spd settings, otherwise It
hangs. Its strange because on the motherboard of my friends, another P4P800 (with all my other
componets such graphic card, hard disk, etc.) the ram keeps the 200 2-2-2-6 latency AS
certified(!). I also tryed 512Mb Corsair XMS pc3500 and on my motherboard but it always hangs
at 200 2-2-2-6 but not on the motherboard of my friend. The bios upgrade does not have effect. I
also chenged the ram position on the slots but nothing.
Ive asked the substitution of the motherboard with a new one, but the shop said that only if the
Asus techninal support tell me its necessary to change it, theyll change it.
I had 6 asus motherboards (P5A, K7V, A7V133-Raid, A7V266, A7V333, P4P800 ), please help
me and tell me if I need the change of the motherboard (and I need it).
Im sorry for my english.
