Ho un problema con una ati 9100 e una mobo MSI KT400.
La prima volta che accendo il pc dopo molte ore parte tutto ma sul display parte no signal .allora devo spengere tutto dall'alimentatore e rifare ripartire il pc anche + di 2 volte con questo metodo e poi parte normalmente.
Ho fatto un giro per la rete ed ho visto che c'è un incompatibilità tra l'agp voltage della ati 9100 e la mobo.
riporto quello che ho trovato:
1. AGP8x
When AGP 8x card is used, the AGP speed select in the BIOS will be dimmed out & it will run as AGP 8x mode.
This simple hack can disable motherboard AGP8x auto-detection and allow manual changes to AGP4x, by insulating MB_DET# (pin A11) and GC_DET# (pin A3) on the AGP card with a scotch tape. link here. [Thanks to zfrogz]
KT4 only supports 1.5V AGP4x and 0.8V AGP8x display cards. The system will not boot if plugged with 3.3V display card.
1.5/3.3V Autosensing cards are not guaranteed to work, like the Kyro cards. (Bas)
Note: Many benchmark results show AGP8x has no performance advantage over AGP4x. It isn't worth spending the time to get the card running at AGP8x. As long as your card can run at AGP4x, you have 99.9% performance out of your card.
PER voi devo cambiare il voltage agp dal bios (ora è auto ma posso impostare 1.6 ,1.7,1.8) oppure non c'entra nulla?????
Qualcuno conosce il voltage esatto della sapphire ati 9100??
