XP non vuole cancella un file grande help!

Ho win xp professional partizioni ntfs e ho un problema. Ho scaricato tempo fa un film in divx da 650 mb. Non riesco a cancellarno in nessun modo! Sull'hard disk (imb da 43 gb) non vi e' installato nessun software. E' un disco cui vanno file di vario genere. Non vi sono nemmeno file nascosti e di sistema, opportunamente cancellati. Il messagio dice che il file e' utilizzato da qualche programma. La cosa veramente STRANA e' che smontando fisicamente l'har-disk e montandolo come slave su un altro computer, mi da lo stesso errore. Non si cancella!!!! che posso fare oltre a formattare?

cerca su google qualcosa riguardo un .dll che impedisce la cancellazione dei file in xp, a me a volte succede se il file si trova assieme a molti altri file multimediali, di cui xp all'apertura della cartella legge tutte le caratteristiche noiosamente, e impedisce di cancellarlo, ma non è il tuo caso...
se invece nel 2° pc dove hai provato non vi è xp, allora non saprei come aiutarti!

ANche sul 2 computer e' montato XP e anche li appunto , impossibile cancellare, ora provo a vedere su google.

E' capitato anche a me ed era colpa dell'antivirus che lo vedeva come un file sospetto. IO avevo momentaneamente disattivato l'antivirus e rimosso il file da finestra DOS.
A me aveva funzionato. Fammi sapere!

To correct this misbehavior in Windows XP, remove the following
registry key.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREClassesCLSID{87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E}InProcServer32

This will prevent Explorer from loading shmedia.dll in response to file property
queries on these files.

Just an extra note, if you do a "search" for this key it will not be found, look
for it manually it is very easy to find. As always newbie or not, if you FUBAR your
registry its your own fault. This fix does work, I use it and have applied it to
many XP machines. Now go ahead and fix this royal pain in the ass!
