c'č qualcuno che mi sa dire se posso montare sulla Asus a7v il Duron 1300, considerando che il moltiplicatore per la CPU puņ essere settato al massimo a 12.5x ?
La mia scheda ha rev. 1.02.

Anche io sono nella stessa situazione e ho lo stesso dubbio, prova a dare un'occhiatra qui

Dal link che ti ho dato si legge:

As this has been asked often: The fastest CPUs that can be used in an A7V "classic" are the Athlon Mod.B (100Mhz FSB) 1.3Ghz and 1.4Ghz. Also the newest Durons up to 1.3Ghz. See the footnote "FID info" on settings for 1.3Ghz and 1.4Ghz Athlon Mod.B. Use one of the newer BIOSes. (e.g 1008 or newer)



quindi dovrebbe andare, ti dice solo di usare un bios dopo il 1008

Sul sito ASUS perņ c'č scritto che la revision della scheda deve essere > 1.05 e questo č male

Se monti l'ultimo bios disponibile che trovi qui (ftp://ftp.asuscom.de/pub/ASUSCOM/BIOS/Socket_A/VIA_Chipset/Apollo_KT133/A7V/) il 1012 beta1 dovresti poter montare anche il Duron 1300 che va settato come 13x100 oppure lascia in jumper free.

Che io sappia la scheda deve essere almeno rev 1.03...comunque sul sito della Asus c'e' un link per verificare la compatibilita' di tutte le schede con le cpu, con spiegato cosa devi fare per montarla ( sicuramente dovrai aggiornare il bios...)

a7v 133 rev 1.02 dios 1011 atlon 1300 jumper free. va na meraviglia
nessun problema la riconosciuto subito
