Seguendo questo link http://www.vr-zone.com/#2834 si scoprono alcune cose sulla nuova scheda di MSI:
"...Here's the initial sample of the MSI MS-8904 card based on the GeForce FX GPU using Samsung K4N26323AE-GC20 GDDR-II chips. Although GDDR-II runs on 1.8V VDDQ but VDD is still at 2.5V and data rate is at 1GB/s therefore the heat generated from memory chips might be too hot. As such NVIDIA has designed the reference cooler in the way that the memory chips are covered with copper heat spreader not for nice look but GDDR-II really need them to dissipate heat well. Sources revealed that the GDDR-II may not ready for mobile platform yet as the heat issues are still not resolved therefore we should not see a mobile version of the GeForce FX anywhere soon. Also retail cards based on GeForce FX may be as late as March-April.."
