Il problema e' il seguente: faccio il tutorial, faccio un giro, ma quando seleziono nuova partita: trash ed esce a windows! Uso Windows XP e Detonators 40.72 (provato anche con 32.80 ma nada!)

il problema si presenta solo con windows XP! :muro:
Installando il windows ME, va perfettamente! :mc:
Provero' nuovamente con XP! Boh!!!!! :eek:
anche a me capita ogni tanto , ci sono migliaia di utenti che si sono riuniti ,cercando di far sfornare una bella patch a quei c@@@@uti della illusion!! io ho una radeon 8500 retail ,ps con il mio vecchio alimentatore il problema si acuiva , evidentemente non sfamava bene la scheda video , quando monterò il 550w vedrò se migliora!

Alimentatore??? Ho un Chieftec da 360W, penso che vada bene...
Boh non ho ancora provato dopo il formattone, ma appena sistemo le ultime cosette mi rifaccio sotto! Che detonators mi consigliate?

Io avevo i 30.82 whql... ho provato i 40.72 whql andavano benissimo... adesso ho i 41.09 (semi-whql) e vanno molto bene... però sono già usciti i 41.80 (beta) Creative (puoi trovare una versione modificata senza personalizzazione Creative) e i 42.01 (beta)... hai solo l'imbarazzo della scelta. ;)
P.S. I 41.09 e i 42.01 sono compatibili con le dx 9.0 (tanto per completezza) :D

Ecco il problema:
With the September 2002 update to Windows XP (known as Service Pack 1), Microsoft suspended distribution of the Indeo codecs as a base part of its operating system. This only affects users with new PCs that are shipping with Windows XP Service Pack 1, or clean installs of Windows XP SP1 on an older system. Unfortunately, a number of game and multimedia titles require Indeo to be installed on the OS in order to function.
As an option to meet the needs of those who require Indeo codecs, Ligos has created a special version of Indeo Video 5 called Indeo XP. Indeo XP includes the enhancements of Indeo Video version 5.1, and new optimizations exclusively for operation on Windows XP systems. The enhancements include the following:
Optimization of scalability feature for best playback on fast, Windows XP based systems
A new wavelet compression algorithm that greatly improves visual quality
Better compression at all levels of video quality than previous generation codecs
Playback performance enhancements including smoother, interpolated "zoom by 2" playback
Indeo XP is a 32-bit driver codec intended exclusively for Windows XP systems, and will not install on other operating systems. Indeo XP also includes the legacy codecs Indeo Video 3.2, Indeo Video 4.5, and Indeo Audio 2.5. If you install Indeo XP, you do not need to download and install the Indeo Codecs Legacy Package shown below.
Indeo XP is available for purchase and download through our electronic store for $14.95.
Dunque con XP-SP1 devo comprare anche Indeo!!! Mah, reinstallo XP non SP1! Che cavolata! Invece di migliorare dopo il service pack, XP crea solo problemi! :mad:

Io Indeo 5.0 me lo sono scaricato un pò di tempo fa... ma non ho dovuto pagare nulla... (no warez cmq) :)

Indeo 5 per win98/ME e' freeware, per XP costa 14,95$! Che boiata!
