Ho provato ieri ad installare il 2004 ma come ogni buon update cumulativo sul mio sistema è fallito.

Non uso windows update per gli update dei win10, ma per curiosità che codice o messaggio di errore ti si presenta?

Non non lo usato perché era tardi e perché mi succede ad ogni singolo update, poi per misteriose ragioni tutto si sblocca e va, ogni volta però non so se sarà l'ultima.

Hai per caso installato/attivo IIS (Internet Information Services) da "windows programmi e caratteristiche" (credo si chiami così in italiano)?
Se sì, da lì togli la spunta.

Se quanto sopra non leva tutto quello che riguarda, allora da prompt comandi (in admin mode) digita:
rename C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv inetsrv.old

(per rinominare la folder che non serve più).

Comunque, prima di tutto questo e se quanto sopra non è il tuo caso, sempre a prompt con privilegi Admin, digita:

msdt.exe /id WindowsUpdateDiagnostic e poi prosegui dalla finestre che ti si ripresenterà

Con Rufus puoi scaricare qualsiasi versione di Windows 10, dalla 1507.

o il tuo sistema è corrotto (ma è improbabile tu lo riscontri esclusivamente in concomitanza con un major update) oppure è presente un driver di terze parti che interferisce con il processo di aggiornamento,

Ad ogni modo, parlare dei singoli casi in una notizia credo sia inappropriato.

Ho il sistema in inglese. Non ho installato IIS comunque o almeno non lo trovo, ma io non l'ho mai installato. Il troubleshooter non è in grado di trovare problema alcuno.
Probabilmente se riprovo dopo qualche tentativo va a buon fine (anche se non so perché) ma ci vuole davvero troppo tempo.

Ieri ho fatto anche degli update normali senza problema alcuno, se il sistema fosse corrotto non me li farebbe mai, invece prima o poi vanno a buon fine.

Ho già visto che quell'errore indica un driver incompatibile ma ho tutti i miei driver aggiornati e più di questo ci faccio poco.

Il problema potrebbe essere la versione educational che ho installato che è una versione un po' particolare (una specie di versione business con alcune features in più della pro), magari mi da come buono l'update ma in realtà non è compatibile con il mio sistema e sono sempre l'ultimo ad avere un update funzionante (che non mi dispiace in generale).

Chiedo scusa se ho monopolizzato il thread, ringrazio per le risposte, farò altre prove e scriverò nel thread ufficiale.

L'educational dovrebbe avere le medesime caratteristiche della Enterprise sulla quale puoi disattivare, tramite editor politiche di gruppo, che windows update aggiorni i driver e anche poter evitare di scaricare e installare gli aggiornamenti ma ricevere solo l'avviso della loro disponibilità.

Aspè, possibili cause per l'errore specifico che hai menzionato:


0xC1900101 – 0x20004: This is generally caused by outdated drivers. Remove all unused devices and drivers, Update drivers, Uninstall your security, Remove all unused SATA devices.

0xC1900101 – 0x2000c: This is generally caused by outdated drivers. Disconnect all devices that are connected to the system, except for the mouse, keyboard and display, Contact your hardware vendor to obtain updated device drivers, Ensure that “Download and install updates (recommended)” is accepted at the start of the upgrade process.

0xC1900101 – 0x20017: This is a SafeOS boot failure, typically caused by drivers or non-Microsoft disk encryption software. Windows was not able to migrate the driver, resulting in a rollback of the operating system. Ensure that all those drivers are updated, Open the Setuperr.log and Setupact.log files in the %windir%\Panther directory, and then locate the problem drivers, Update or uninstall the problem drivers.

L'educational dovrebbe avere le medesime caratteristiche della Enterprise sulla quale puoi disattivare, tramite editor politiche di gruppo, che windows update aggiorni i driver e anche poter evitare di scaricare e installare gli aggiornamenti ma ricevere solo l'avviso della loro disponibilità.
