Salve a tutti, ho un hdd esterno che utilizzo come archivio dati che viene "visto" solamente come RAW. Si tratta di un WD green SATA, che però essendo esterno lo collego tramite usb 2.0, per lo più utilizzato con windows 7, quindi aveva(ha) partizione NTFS.
Ho tolto il disco dal box e l'ho collegato direttamente all'interno del pc. poi ho utilizzato Testdisk, in ambiente windows, fatto fare l'analisi del disco, mi avvisa che c'è un mismatch nella geometria del disco, cioè questa:
Bytes/Sector: 512 (secondo Testdisk dovrebbero essere invece 4096)
Total disk sectors: 5860533168
Logical sector size: 512 (secondo Testdisk dovrebbero essere invece 4096)
Physical sector size: 4096
Ho continuato quindi col Quicksearch mi trova tutte le cartelle con tutti i files all'interno, in pratica è tutto al suo posto (almeno visivamente), dopodiché ho provato a fare una prova di salvataggio di alcuni files secondo la procedura di Testdisk copiandoli su di un altro hdd e sono riuscito a recuperarli. A questo punto vorrei chiedere: siccome mi sono reso conto che la copia di semplici foto in jpg della grandezza media di 3/4mb, o di archivi rar da 200mb oppure di file video da 300/400 mb per salvarli sull'altro hdd è davvero lentissima (come se avesse difficoltà a leggere sul disco o ci fossero dei settori danneggiati, non so), infatti la velocità media di copia è mediamente di 200-250 kbs e soltato rari picchi di un paio di secondi in cui raggiunte i 20mbs, conviene provare a ripristinare la geometria del disco o il file di boot, sempre tramite TestDisk per cercare di poter accedere al disco normalmente oppure rischio di perdere dei dati? Devo per forza tentare questo recupero super lento (in questo modo ci vorranno mesi per salvare tutti i files tenendo conto che per salvare sui 20Gb ci ha impiegato ben oltre le 24 ore!!!) e magari rischiare di forzare troppo l'hdd che si potrebbe surriscaldare o danneggiare?
