tra l'altro tengo a precisare che limitare la banda a 32Kbps oggi giorno, significa nella pratica non poter far più niente se non mandare messaggi su whatssapp o qualsiasi altra app di instant message...la navigazione diventa un calvario anche solo per aprire una pagina.

Potrebbero limitarla almeno a 256Kbps idealmente...

AT&T introduced a new unlimited option for its contract-free GoPhone prepaid plan today. For $65/month ($60/month if you sign up for AutoPay), you get access to a slow internet with crappy video quality.

With the new plan, GoPhone Unlimited customers get unlimited talk, text, and data. But that data is capped at a max speed of 3Mbps, which is less than half the speed of AT&T’s average LTE speed of 7.93Mbps. That speed is cut even more if you want to watch a video. Videos are not only limited to a 480p resolution, but will also max out download speeds at 1.5Mbps. Even the “unlimited” banner is a bit of a misnomer since AT&T will temporarily slow your already slow data during high traffic times if you go over 22GB of usage for the month. You also won’t be able to tether another device to your phone.

As a point of reference, previously, the AT&T GoPhone unlimited plan was $60/month and you’d get the first 8GB of data at LTE speeds before it slowed down. Now, the plan is closer in line to the contract AT&T unlimited plan introduced recently, but with a much slower speed cap.

If the unlimited plan is too stupid for you, AT&T will now offer a 6GB data plan for $45/month ($40/month with AutoPay) that retains LTE speeds, though those will drop to a speed of 128kbps if you exceed 6GB for the month. 128Kpbs is at least perfect if you’re still playing Warcraft II over dial-up. Unused data on this plan will roll over to the next month.

We typically really like off-contract phone plans, but the AT&T’s unlimited plan here seems like a horrible deal. It’s even worse when you consider Cricket’s $60/month Unlimited Plan, which shares the same network and soft 22GB cap restrictions as AT&T, doesn’t throttle your data until you hit 8Mbps for LTE and 4Mbps for 4G.

con 10€ al mese abbiamo offerte nettamente superiori a queste americane a 65$ al mese e siamo noi a lamentarci... Però c'è da dire che un Tecnico in campo di AT&T prende 100'000$/anno da noi grasso che cola 30'000€

Sulla disparità del salario, nulla da dire, sebbene quella disparità è inferiore rispetto a simili figure professionali in altre nazioni europee.

Io mi riferivo ai cap mensili, sulla velocità, oltre che sui GB.

se non sbaglio a breve verranno tolti anche i 32Kbps. quindi: o paghi o non ti si apre nemmeno il browser fino al termine dei 28 giorni.
anzi, coi 0 kbps sono sicuri di bloccarti anche i messaggi whatsapp e simili (non si sa mai che si riesce ad inviare messaggi solo testo). e nel frattempo hanno già tolto gli sms gratuiti dai vari piani tariffari.

eh, devo ammettere mio malgrado, che da quando si è insediato il nuovo AD, alla Tim si stanno dando un gran bel da fare. :cincin:

ho tirato fuoi il salario solo per dire che avendo più spese per il personale ovviamente devono fare prezzi più alti
