LENOVO YOGA 710 - PROBLEMA VENTOLA

Ciao a tutti, due giorni fa mi è finalmente arrivato a casa il nuovo portatile, in particolare si tratta di un Lenovo Yoga 710 da 14'', nella versione con processore i7, ma senza scheda video dedicata, acquistato su amazon.co.uk.

Il notebook è davvero molto bello e per quel poco che l'ho utilizzato mi sembra davvero performante.

L'unico vero problema è però questo: sin dalla prima accensione, ho notato da subito che la ventola resta praticamente quasi sempre in funzione, sforzando a più non posso anche semplicemente navigando sul web o addirittura stando fermi senza far nulla!

Vorrei chiedere, soprattutto ad altri possessori se ce ne sono, se secondo voi è normale tutto ciò, oppure se il terminale che mi è arrivato è difettoso, perché sto valutando se chiedere o meno la sostituzione visto che ha ancora solo 2 giorni di vita.

Se la ventola sta sempre accesa, allora è difettoso. Chiedi subito la sostituzione.

Logicamente va controllato il task, però quando l'utente ha scritto anche senza far nulla, davo per sottinteso che il procio fosse in idle reale e non apparente :D Cmq per tenere sempre sott'occhio la cpu nell'area di notifica, consiglio un programmino portable come Performance Monitor

di solito quando l'utente medio scrive così è perchè lui non sta facendo nulla
ma ignora completamente la miriade di processi in background :sofico:

magari non è un utente medio, ma penso di far bene? a ricordarlo di volta in volta

ho controllato il task manager e l'utilizzo della CPU si aggira quasi sempre tra il 3% e l'8%, con picchi del 30% che durano però pochi secondi e sono dovuti più che mai all'antivirus (la versione mcafee di prova che ora provvederò a disinstallare) e ad alcuni processi di windows che onestamente non conosco.

Comunque ho continuato a provarlo in questi 2 giorni e le ventole restano costantemente accese per il 99% del tempo, andando sotto sforzo anche con scarso utilizzo della CPU.

Io penso che sinceramente il problema sia delle ventole che partono senza motivo, visto che non credo che il processore possa surriscaldarsi per così poco.

Vorrei evitare di chiedere la sostituzione visto che avendolo comprato da amazon.co.uk dovrei rispedirlo indietro a mie spese, oggi proverò a contattare Lenovo per sentire se è un problema risolvibile.

controlla le temperature con un paio(per controprova) della miriade di programmi di monitoraggio

ho scoperto che molto probabilmente è proprio un problema di questo modello e non del mio notebook, in quanto questa mattina sulla pagina amazon da cui l'ho acquistato è comparsa questa recensione:

"Still deciding if keep this product or not.

Laptop is very well made, it looks great and performs great.

It's very fast and has nice screen. It does not say in descriptions but i think it has IPS panel,
great colours and a bit of bleed on top of the screen(nothing that really bad).

The ONLY downside is that its fans spin almost constantly, right after laptop boots.
Fans make quite loud noise even if you run nothing but Chrome browser. This laptop is
not suitable for places where user have to keep noise levels down(schools, libraries,public places).

I did some research and this problem was reported by many, many users think that it is not design fault
but rather the lack of bios update addressing this or some software which could switch fans off when on
idle state. There really should not be reason for fans to be on when on idle.

I will wait if Lenovo will respond on this on forums , if not i might just return it, i could accept loud laptop
after a few years of use but not brand new one."

In pratica ha il mio stesso identico problema.
Mentre le altre recensioni, che sono tutte positive, sono riferite al modello con processore i5! :cry: :cry: :cry:

In pratica ha il mio stesso identico problema.

Ciao, a questo punto, il problema lo potrebbe risolvere solo Lenovo con un update del BIOS. Cmq ti consiglio di restituirlo e orientarti su un altro modello.
