Ciao ragazzi, ho da poco assemblato un nuovo PC (i5-6600 e MB GA-Z170-HD3P) e ora devo installare Win 10.
Ho alcuni dubbi sulle seguenti impostazioni del bios:
1 - Windows 8/10 Features: Allows you to select the operating system to be installed. (Default: Other OS)
Scelte: Other OS, Windows 8/10 (quello che pensavo di scegliere), Windows 8/10 WHQL.
2 - CSM Support: Enables or disables UEFI CSM (Compatibility Support Module) to support a legacy PC boot process. E’ configurabile solo quando Windows 8/10 Features è settato su Windows 8/10 o Windows 8/10 WHQL.
Enabled: Enables UEFI CSM. (Default)
Disabled: Disables UEFI CSM and supports UEFI BIOS boot process only.
3 - LAN PXE Boot Option ROM: Allows you to select whether to enable the legacy option ROM for the LAN controller. (Default: Disabled). E’ configurabile solo quando CSM Support è settato su Enabled.
4 - Storage Boot Option Control: Allows you to select whether to enable the UEFI or legacy option ROM for the storage device controller. E’ configurabile solo quando CSM Support è settato su Enabled.
Disabled: Disables option ROM.
Legacy Only: Enables legacy option ROM only. (Default)
UEFI Only: Enables UEFI option ROM only.
5 - Secure Boot: Disabled, Standard o Custom. E’ configurabile solo quando CSM support è disabilitato.
Considerando che il PC ha un SSD Samsung 850 evo da 250GB e un HD da 1TB gradirei qualche consiglio sulla scelta schema di partizionamento tra MBR o GPT e conseguenti impostazioni delle voci del bios.
In termini di stabilità/compatibilità sono equivalenti? Inoltre se scelgo GPT per l’SSD, devo utilizzarlo anche per l’HD?
